It cannot be denied that Thailand generates a massive amount of waste each year.
In 2023, Thailand generated approximately 26.95 million tons of solid waste, or about 73,840 tons per day. This averages to 1.12 kg per person per day, with Bangkok having the highest generation rate at 12,748 tons per day. Meanwhile, only 9.31 million tons were utilized or recycled.

One way we can help reduce this waste volume is by recycling items for reuse.
1. Recycle for Maximum Value: Extend the lifespan of items and increase their efficiency by up to 200%.
2. Recycle to Save Space: By reducing waste, we can minimize landfill usage and convert that space into green areas.
3. Recycle to Save Energy: Producing new plastic consumes vast amounts of oil and electricity. The more we produce, the more we deplete the Earth’s energy resources.
Therefore, donating recyclable items helps reduce waste, combat global warming, and prevent air pollution. By reusing materials, we conserve energy and lower carbon dioxide emissions. Moreover, we can turn this waste into funds to support the construction of the Impact Asia Ministry Center. In this way, we not only reduce waste together but also contribute to building a meaningful facility for the community.
The Established life Foundation organized a special training session on recyclable waste sorting, led by guest speakers from Waste Buy Company. The session aimed to educate participants on waste management to help reduce global warming, while also demonstrating how to turn trash into cash.
